as I've had to spend the time on the plot surrounded by garlic.
However, popped up to the lottie last night with two very heavy bags of home cooked compost in hand to spread over the bean beds as a mulch. Going armed with a bundle of newspapers too to lay out before I spread, see if that keeps the blessed weeds at bay. Couple of the climbing beans look to have bitten the dust (mud), wind damage I guess.
Courgettes are coming on nicely, may even get to cut a couple more baby ones tonight. The leeks have had a good watering, one or two of the holes is still full of water, obviously didn't dig well enough in that bit.
The weeds are doing well !
Hopefully will have more to report tonight.
